A maid from Myanmar who is accused of murdering an 85-year-old woman, believed to be her employer, was remanded for another two weeks.
Yong Wan Lan was found on the floor of her home at Hindhede Walk on March 4. She was pronounced dead by paramedics.
Than Than Win, 24, was charged the following day with murder.
The maid looked glum when her case was mentioned again at the State Courts yesterday afternoon.
She will be remanded for another two weeks at Changi Women’s Prison. — The Straits Times / Asia News Network
