A FLIGHT attendant was fined S$5,000 (RM12,878) for threatening to upload a video of a woman stripping herself on the Internet.
Kishenraj Rengaraj, 22, admitted threatening to injure the reputation of the 21-year-old bartender and causing her alarm in January last year.
On Jan 10 last year, the pair had a video chat over Facetime when he offered to give her S$200 (RM515) for video sex.
But when he did not transfer the money as promised, the victim contacted him, demanding that he transfer the money to her.
He refused and threatened to send her text messages alleging that he had recorded the video of the victim’s naked video on the Internet, thus causing her alarm.
Kishenraj could have been jailed for up to two years and/or fined. — The Straits Times / Asia News Network
