A DOG was killed after its leash got caught in a lift door.
Its owner, a woman believed to be in her 50s, went into the lift on the ground floor of Block 621 in Bukit Batok Central at about 6.30am yesterday. The doors closed before the dog, which was on a leash, could get in.
Engineering assistant Victor Ng, who was part of the Essential Maintenance Service Unit lift rescue team, posted pictures of the incident on the Stomp website. — The Straits Times / Asia News Network
