Fireman, wife die in accident involving MPV and trailer


KOTA BARU: An officer from the Fire and Rescue Department and his wife died after the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) they were travelling in collided with a trailer lorry that had skidded.

In the incident at 11pm Friday night at the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Enforcement Station in Laloh, Kuala Krai, near here, the officer from the Gebeng Fire and Rescue Station, Pahang, Muhamad Zulkifli Awang, 36, and his wife, Shuhada Mat Hassan, 34, died of severe injuries to the head and body.
