Dr Wee: Recognise MCA's role in Malaysia's formation

PETALING JAYA: MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong is shocked to learn that the party's contribution towards the formation of Malaysia has been sidelined in the SJKC Year Six history textbook.

"There is no mention of the late Tan Sri Wong Pow Nee in the textbook whilst the contribution of the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew is acknowledged," said Dr Wee in a post on his Facebook account Friday.
