‘Our buildings in Washington being refurbished’

PETALING JAYA: The two buildings owned by the Government in Washington DC that have been left vacant are undergoing refurbishment, which will be completed by the middle of next year.

The Foreign Ministry, in a statement yesterday, said that to ensure a positive image of the Malaysian Embassy, the ministry started renovating both buildings, Annex 1 and Annex 2, in 2010 to be used as education and tourism centres.
