PETALING JAYA: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has defended the actions of five of its Penang state assemblymen who abstained from voting on a Barisan Nasional motion during a recent Penang state assembly sitting.
PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil (pic) said that although PKR does not agree with the stand by Umno on the matter, the party is satisfied with the explanation given by the five state assemblymen.
