PETALING JAYA: More than RM6mil worth of flood mitigation equipment allocated under the Tenth Malaysia Plan could not be used due to various technical problems, the Auditor-General’s Report has revealed.
According to the audit, there were project components or works under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s Flood Mitigation Programme (FMP) that did not comply with specifications or were of low quality.
