KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says certain quarters were behind the action of several Umno branches in calling for the resignation of the party president.
The Deputy Prime Minister said those involved should understand that there were regulations, ethics and constitution in Umno which determined the selection of leaders at the national, divisional and branch levels.
