Ku Nan dismisses speculation over timing of Umno supreme council meeting

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor has dismissed speculation over the timing of the Umno supreme council meeting set for Nov 24, saying it was orchestrated to cause disunity in the party.

The Umno secretary-general refuted the allegation that the meeting was brought forward by three days from Nov 27 because party deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and vice-president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal were reportedly abroad.
