PETALING JAYA: Parti Socialis Malaysia (PSM) leader S. Arutchelvan, will be charged on Monday under the Sedition Act as well as the Communications and Multimedia Act for criticising the judiciary following Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy conviction on Feb 10.
PSM’s secretary-general A. Sivarajan said the party had been informed by the investigating officer from the Dang Wangi police headquarters that Arutchelvan will be charged on Monday under Section 4(1)(b) of the Sedition Act as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act at the Kuala Lumpur High Court at Jalan Duta.
