DG: Ban on movement of horses lifted

KLUANG: It will take a month before horses in the country are declared free of equine influenza, and with no new outbreak, the Veterinary Services Department has lifted a ban on their movement.

Its director-general Datuk Dr Kamarudin Md Isa said the one-month period was based on procedures set by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
