PETALING JAYA: The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) has explained that a halal certification of a factory that sells buns was revoked due to its failure to comply with the halal procedures.
Jakim’s halal hub division director Hakimah Mohd Yusoff said the halal certification of one of the factories owned by Today Bakeries that produces Sweetie buns was revoked as it failed to comply with the halal standard procedure certification.
