Selangor to build two water treatment plants as Langat 2 delayed

KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor government will build two water treatment plants to ensure that there is enough supply in view of a possible delay in the Langat 2 water treatment plant project.

Selangor Mentri Besar Azmin Ali said the two plants costing RM800mil - Semenyih 2 and Labohan Dagang, Kuala Langat - would ensure water supply between 2017 and 2019, as the Langat 2 plant may only be completed by 2019 and not 2017.
