Shahrir: Pandikar’s willingness to step down over 1MDB debate laudable


JOHOR BARU: Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad (pix) has lauded Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia’s readiness to step down from his post as Dewan Rakyat Speaker to prevent the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) debate between Tony Pua and Arul Kanda Kandasamy. 

Shahrir, who is Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) chairman and Johor Baru MP, said that Pandikar’s willingness to sacrifice his position on the grounds of upholding the rules of Parliament was commendable.
