PETALING JAYA: As many as 7,000 Malaysians die in road accidents every year yet no allocation has been set aside to address road safety under Budget 2016.
Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (Miros) chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, who said this, added that road accidents have reached a critical stage, with motorcyclists being 65% of the victims.
