PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has denied a Sarawak assemblyman and a voter leave to appeal against the Election Commission’s (EC) re-delineation exercise of the state electoral boundaries, ruling that the matter was academic.
Following this decision, the Court of Appeal’s verdict which declared the EC’s notice of its recommendations on re-delineation of the state constituencies as valid, is upheld.
