Tabling of hudud Bill is the privilege of Parliament, says counsel

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has no power to question proceedings in the Parliament with regard to tabling of a Bill on hudud law, PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia and few others contended.

They further contended that the Parliament has absolute privilege to decide on the tabling of hudud law.
