IPOH: A retired senior civil officer who died when an overhead sign along the North South Expressway fell on his car used to tell his younger brother this – “driving is much more dangerous than flying”.
The former Minerals and Geoscience Research Centre director Dzulkarnain Kamaruzzaman, 64, who possessed an amateur flying licence, was killed with his wife Jamnah Ibrahim, 56, and their 17-year-old daughter Nor Juliana when their car was crushed by the falling signboard near Tanjung Malim yesterday.
