KUALA LUMPUR: The backlog of cases at the Court of Appeal has been slashed by more than 70% in the past five years, thanks to an ongoing judicial reform effort.
Court of Appeal President Tan Sri Mohd Raus Sharif said there were 10,760 cases pending in the court in 2010, but the number has been cut down to 2,815 as of Oct 1 this year.
