GEORGE TOWN: The state government has come under fire from Penang PAS for withdrawing financial aid to a religious school in Balik Pulau.
State PAS commissioner Muhammad Fauzi Yusof claimed in a statement that the state had discontinued the annual allocation to Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Ansor, which is said to have 215 students, mostly from low and medium-income families.
