KUALA LUMPUR: The 239th meeting of the Conference of Rulers, which convened here Wednesday, discussed matters pertaining to the appointment of judges of the higher courts and the appointment of members of the Elections Commission (EC), according to a statement.
The statement, issued by the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal Datuk Seri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, said the meeting chaired by the Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail also discussed the schedule of meetings of the Conference of Rulers for 2016.
