IPOH: The Department of Orang Asli Development (Jakoa) is eyeing at least a RM50mil allocation under Budget 2016 to build houses for the community.
Its director-general Datuk Hasnan Hassan said the allocation set aside currently for the purpose was RM23mil and that only some 500 houses could be constructed in a year for the orang asli community.
