GEORGE TOWN: A lawyer couple who sued an insurance company over an alleged misrepresentation of their investment policies by its agents were awarded a total of RM240,000 by a Sessions Court here.
Sessions Judge Khairul Anuar Abd Halim ruled in favour of M. Kanesan, 59, and his wife A. Dhanan, 61, and ordered Amlife Insurance Berhad to pay an annual dividend of 10.3% for the sum of RM150,000 and RM90,000 respectively, from Oct 2009 until the date of judgment.
