KLANG: The Selangor Royal Council has taken former Malacca chief minister Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik to task over an outrageous claim that the Selangor Raja Muda had converted to Catholicism.
In a stern statement issued by the council’s secretary Hanafisah Jais yesterday, it said the council was perturbed as Rahim “did not take any steps to verify the truth of the postings in various other portals before giving his opinions and comments.”
