Declare temple demolition a criminal act, says group


KUALA LUMPUR: A group of former estate workers is seeking a court order to declare that the demolition of a 130-year-old temple in Segambut by two developers was a criminal act.

The workers want to get a declaration that demolition of the Kuil Sri Nagakanni Amman on July 25 was in breach of the Federal Constitution which guaranteed freedom of religion.
