PETALING JAYA: The Penang government has hit back at critics who have attacked the anti-rabies dog culling that is ongoing in the state, with Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng saying that similar practice was done in Kedah and Perlis without any public outcry.
He said the state government had been transparent on the matter and yet it was targeted for doing what was done months earlier in Kedah and Perlis to the extent that some threatened not to vote and to overthrow the Penang Pakatan Harapan government.
