KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak (pix) has asked why Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad did not sue a former Wall Street Journal (WSJ) editor who claimed that the former premier had squandered vast sums of money during his rule.
"According to ex-WSJ editor Barry Wain, Dr Mahathir had squandered an estimated RM100bil during his 22-year rule," said the Communications and Multimedia Minister on his blog Monday, adding that the amount, say in 1990, was worth RM225bil today.
