MCA proposes law to curb racist language

PETALING JAYA: MCA has proposed that a law be drafted to spell out instances or language deemed offensive to Malays and other races.

Its religious harmony bureau chief Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker said this was necessary to ensure everyone was mindful not to let troublemakers use “racial dignity” as an excuse to disregard the law, start vigilantism and create public disorder or an uprising.
