20 NGOs hold protest in Malacca against Bersih, Alvin Tan

MALACCA: A large group of people from 20 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) here held a protest against Bersih 4 by walking one kilometre from Padang Nyiru to the Melaka Tengah police headquarters on Friday.

Representatives from the NGOs also lodged three police reports against the organisers of Bersih 4, individuals who stomped images of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, and controversial blogger Alvin Tan who allegedly threatened to rape the daughter of a leader.
