THIS year’s Vinayakar Chathurthi celebrations in Brickfields will feature a 5.5m statue of the Hindu god, reported Makkal Osai.
The festival is celebrated on the fourth lunar day of the waxing moon in the Tamil calendar month of Purattasi in honour of the popular elephant-headed god.
