Spreading Malaysia Day spirit through street art

Patriotic mission: Liz (centre) with Petronas general manager of the Sabah and Labuan regional office Julita Ontol (third from right) with some of the street artists involved in the Malaysia Day project in Kota Kinabalu.

KOTA KINABALU: Two buildings in the city will be given facelifts with graffiti and brush paintings come Malaysia Day.

But it will not be illegal this time. This is because a group of street artists and muralists have been gathered by Petronas to spread the message of love, joy and unity in conjunction with Malaysia Day on Sept 16.
