KUALA LUMPUR: Electronic visas (e-visas) for foreign tourists will increase the competitiveness of the nation's tourism industry, says the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta).
"It is the way forward to move into (giving out) e-visas," said association president Hamzah Rahmat, adding that a proposal on the matter had recently been made to the Government.
