PUTRAJAYA: The Special Economic Committee, established last week to formulate plans to strengthen Malaysia’s economy, deliberated on several proposed measures at its first meeting.
While the committee was not ready to go into details on the proposed measures yesterday, it was confident that Malaysia could sustain its growth momentum this year, said chairman of the committee, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar.
