GEORGE TOWN: Police have detained a seasoned snatch thief believed to be responsible for 14 snatch theft cases in various parts of the district.
OCPD Asst Comm Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said they arrested the 42-year-old thief at his house in Teluk Kumbar on Saturday and recovered 10 pawn receipts for items worth about RM20,000, four helmets and bank cards.
