KUALA LUMPUR: A 74-year-old landlord wants to be dissociated with his former tenant, who is said to have a RM1.6mil debt with loan sharks.

Retiree Lee Hoi Sang said he had suspicions that the tenant, known as Hoong, used money borrowed from loan sharks to pay the monthly RM400 rent after an unnerving incident on July 31.
