Siblings and three others also charged with robbing, confining woman

GEORGE TOWN: Six men and one woman claimed trial in the Sessions Court here to charges of gang robbery, wrongfully confining and gang-raping an Indonesian woman before attempting to sell her in Sungai Golok, Thailand.

Unemployed Faruoq Abdullah, 27, and hypermarket worker Raja Nor Amira Izra Raja Yusoff, 24, denied robbing the woman of gold earrings, a gold ring and mobile phone while inside a car at Persiaran Bukit Jambul at about 6am on Aug 12.
