IGP: Former SB man to get show-cause letter

KUANTAN: Former Special Branch deputy director Datuk Abdul Hamid Bador will be served with a show-cause letter to explain his action of issuing statements to the media pertaining to his recent transfer, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pix). 

He said that as a police officer, Abdul Hamid was bound by the rules of the police force and could not arbitrarily issue statements to the media.
