KOSMO! reported about the Armed Forces Museum’s plans to carry out an archaeological excavation of the remains of three crewmen who died when a US Air Force aircraft crashed in Beruas, Perak, 70 years ago.
It quoted Malaysia History Research Team head Shaharom Ahmad as saying that the Douglas Dakota plane with the three men aboard had gone down in the Bubu Forest Reserve on Nov 17, 1945, while en route from Singapore to Penang. They were delivering food.
