GEORGE TOWN: Contractors, who have been awarded state government projects, will now face an additional 50% in fines if the projects are not completed on time.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the new policy which was applicable to only new contracts was to ensure that projects were completed on time as stated in the contract.
