Esszone curfew extended until Sept 6


KOTA KINABALU: The dusk-to-dawn curfew in Sabah’s east coast has been extended as the waters off the state are still under threat from cross-border kidnap-for-ransom groups and smugglers.

Sabah police commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman said the 7pm to 5am curfew in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (Esszone), which ended Aug 22, would be extended for another two weeks, till Sept 6.
