KUALA KANGSAR: It is not viable to gradually reduce the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to 3% as the move will disrupt the country’s finance and tax structure, said Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah.
The tax did not start out at 3% when the Sales and Services Tax was in place, he explained.
