Bon Jovi shows softer side with Teresa Teng’s ballad


Over the moon: Bon Jovi will be heading to China next month and has released a video on YouTube of him recording the song in a studio.

PETALING JAYA: Famed for his hard rock image, United States rocker Jon Bon Jovi has shown his softer side with the Mandarin ­ballad The Moon Represents My Heart made legendary by the late Taiwanese songbird Teresa Teng.

The 53-year-old lead singer of the band Bon Jovi, who will be heading to China next month, released a video on YouTube on Wednesday, which shows him recording the evergreen song in a studio. The cover was described as a gift to his Chinese fans, said a statement on the band’s website.
