IGP: Zeti allowed us to probe Bank Negara officers


SUBANG JAYA: Police obtained permission from Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) Governor Tan Sri Zeti Akthar Aziz (pic) to investigate seven of her officers under the central bank’s own Financial Services Act.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said that the BNM employees were being quizzed over an alleged leak of information from the investigation into 1Malaysia Development Board (1MDB).
