KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) is applying to be an intervener in the case of a clerk who is contending that she has the Constitutional right to import religious publications containing the word "Allah" to practise her religion.
This was confirmed by Robin Lim, the lawyer of Jill Ireland Lawrence Bill, 34, after the parties met a senior assistant registrar in chambers during case management.
