PETALING JAYA: The indigenous people of Sarawak can challenge decisions by Native Courts in civil courts, the Court of Appeal ruled in a landmark judgment.
Justice Mohd Hishamuddin Yunus and two other judges said Native Courts were inferior tribunals under the prerogative of the High Court and their decisions were amenable for judicial review.
