PETALING JAYA: The cancellation of the transfer orders for the two Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) senior officers shows how important it is to protect the independence of the anti-graft agency.
“It is of paramount importance for the independence of institutions like the MACC to be safeguarded and enhanced, and for staffing matters to be dealt with internally within the ambit of the agency’s own regulations,” said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Paul Low.
