KUALA LUMPUR: Nearly two months since the hijacking of Orkim Harmony, the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) conducted a rescue exercise to prepare for any future acts of piracy on the high seas.
The operation saw the Navy’s special warfare force (Paskal) testing its mettle in combating a mock scenario of a tanker hijacking, which mirrors the taking of the Orkim Harmony off the coast of Pulau Aur in Johor in June.
