MALACCA: Italian hotelier Marco Giovanni Battistotti, known for riding his Vespa around town, was killed in a hit-and-run accident near the Alor Gajah toll plaza of the North-South Expressway.
The accident is believed to have happened while he was riding the scooter along the highway during a downpour at about 3am yesterday.
