KUALA SELANGOR: The Government has no plans to peg the ringgit to the US dollar, like what was done during the Asian financial crisis in 1997.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah (pic) said that many currencies have been affected by the appreciating greenback and that Malaysia was confident that the ringgit will stabilise.
